How much does a bathroom remodel cost in Columbus?
It depends on the scope. A bathtub replacement, a tub-to-shower conversion and a full remodel are very different projects, and the price of each moves with the size of the room, the materials you choose and whether the plumbing has to move. A designer measures the room at a free in-home consultation and leaves you with a written quote. That quote is a firm price for the scope it describes, and financing is available.
What is the difference between a tub-to-shower conversion and a full remodel?
A conversion replaces the tub with a walk-in shower and leaves the vanity, toilet, flooring and lighting exactly as they are. A full remodel replaces all of it as one project. The conversion is the right call when the tub is the only thing you dislike about the room. The full remodel is the right call when the whole bathroom is dated, or when the layout is the thing fighting you.
How long will my bathroom be out of use?
A shower installation takes two to five days on site. A tub-to-shower conversion or a bathtub replacement takes one to two weeks. A full remodel takes two to six weeks. If you have a second bathroom it stays usable throughout, apart from short water shut-offs we schedule with you in advance. Before we start you get a written schedule naming the days the room being worked on is out of use. Shower glass is templated once the walls are finished and takes three to four weeks to arrive, so glass installation is a short return visit after the main work is done.

Matt Skellan owns and operates Bath Tune-Up Columbus North, and also runs Kitchen Tune-Up Columbus North out of the same showroom. The designer, Install Manager, and installation crew running your project work for the local business and owner as W2 employees. Licensed trades are brought in where the work requires them, and we manage the schedule through our in-house team. We are a one stop shop meaning you hire Bath Tune-Up and we are your one point of contact from the start of the project until the final walkthrough.
